What are the CLISPI webpages?
These webpages are a tool designed for promoting good practice with support on how to collect a good speech sample. They have been designed by Speech-Language Pathologists/Therapists (SLPs/SLTs) working within cleft teams, for use in research projects as well as for clinicians with an interest in cleft related speech assessment. For comparison across languages, restricted speech material should be used. Word lists for use in the restricted word tests (for included languages) are available for download.
Those interested in a restricted word list in a specific language are asked to first see if there is a word list in that language. If not, and you wish to create one, you are recommended to first read the instructions carefully for how word lists should be designed. If questions remain after that, you can get in touch with a contact person for an available word list in a closely related language (see page Restricted wordlists for cross-linguistic comparison), or with the core group.
