The suggested ages of documentation are revised from Record Taken Methodology, Eurocleft consensus recommendations, The Eurocleft project 1996-2000 (Shaw et al., 2000) and combined with ICHOM Standard Set for Cleft Palate (Allori et al., 2017). It is important to document speech at these ages since this will enable meaningful comparisons of speech outcome to be made at different ageg, and across centres. In addition, the early speech and language development is recommended to be monitored and preferably documented.
